Forest inventory

Forest inventory, or valuation of felling reflects the current actual data on the value of the forest stand at the specified time. The approximate value of a stand can be determined using forest valuation data, but if some time has passed since the forest valuation and you want to determine the exact current market value of the stand, then it is recommended to carry out a stand inventory. The inventory data provides information on the volumes of the assortments to be harvested from the stand and by applying the current market prices less the costs of harvesting, shipping and transport, it is possible to determine the actual selling price or value of the growing trees - the slash.
