SIA “Lateira”

Lateira Ltd. is a local forest management company that has been operating since February 2001. The company has 100 % of Latvian capital and its activities are mainly concentrated in the Kurzeme region.

Our core business is full-cycle forest management - from reforestation and planting to harvesting, timber preparation and marketing, including the supply of energy wood and wood chips for both domestic and export markets. We strive for economically sound, sustainable and long-term value-creating forest management.

Over the years, we have developed in a targeted way, investing in new technologies, fleet and team development. We have several modern sets of logging machinery, as well as transport for the production, transport and logistics of timber and wood chips. This allows us to ensure efficient, high quality and timely execution of our work.

We are particularly proud of our team of experienced local professionals. We work closely with our clients, always finding the best solutions for individual situations - both private forest owners and companies.

The company owns real estate that is managed according to sustainable forestry principles. We manage our forest land in accordance with FSC standards and our overall operations are assessed as compliant with FSC Forest Management (FM), FSC Chain of Custody (COC) and SBP standards.
